SNA is proud to have been recognized by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) with two 2023 Gold Circle Awards: Best Video, which is part of the “Bring More to the Table” campaign that offers robust recruitment marketing resources for school nutrition professionals, and Best Website, for the newly redesigned SchoolNutrition.org that launched in August 2022.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized for our work on two significant resources for SNA members,” says Danielle Duran Baron, SNA Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Industry Relations. “These are crucial tools in enhancing the member experience and providing assistance in overcoming incredible challenges in the school nutrition profession. While the accolades are amazing, we’re most proud of delivering the highest-quality member values possible.”

The Gold Circle Awards competition is the premier association award that recognizes excellence, innovation and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership and communications programs nation-wide. This year’s competition received more than 150 applications across 16 categories, out of which SNA was the only organization to win multiple awards.

This year, the Gold Circle Awards categories have been updated to encourage and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in campaign development. The winning campaigns showcase innovation, collaboration, creativity, and thoughtful incorporation of the diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility perspective in their design and implementation.”

SNA will accept the awards at the 2023 Marketing, Membership and Communications Conference in Washington, D.C., in mid-June. The association was supported by marketing agency Mekanic in the production of the “Bring More to Table” video and web design and development agency Yoko Co. in the production of the new website.
