Our Programs
The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) always has its members at the forefront when developing programs and resources to support the school nutrition profession. Through our programs and projects, we aim to develop tools and resources that help school nutrition operators expand their programs, attract more students to their meals, and advocate for policy changes that benefit our professionals and feed our future.

No Kid Hungry: Supply Chain Innovation Project
As school meal programs nationwide face canceled orders, shortages of foods and supplies, and labor challenges, SNF and No Kid Hungry teamed up to help school nutrition professionals manage persistent supply chain disruptions. This project provides school nutrition professionals with resources to guide them through supply chain challenges.
LEAD To Succeed™
LEAD to Succeed™ was made possible through a $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food & Nutrition Service and developed with a team from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. The initiative addresses workforce development needs for school nutrition professionals in the areas of Personnel Management and Communication, and Marketing and Customer Service.
Schools As Nutrition Hubs
The SNF collaborated with Share Our Strength on “Schools as Nutrition Hubs.” Schools operating as Nutrition Hubs are those that participate in and maximize all federal child nutrition programs available, in addition to the National School Lunch Program, which includes school breakfast, afterschool meals and summer meals. Check out the tools and resources available to support your program expansion!
Partners For Breakfast In The Classroom
In partnership with Partners for Breakfast in the Classroom (PBIC), SNF curated a Breakfast in the Classroom Resource Center that has plenty of tools to support your direct delivery and grab-and-go breakfast programs. Look here for videos to share with stakeholders, webinar archives, and toolkits and templates to help plan a successful breakfast after the bell program!
"This program is so great for our kids. As a parent, I love knowing every child has the chance to eat breakfast every morning at school."
- Michelle S., Livingston Parish Public Schools LPPS School Food Services
All children deserve access to healthy school meals. We provide programs and resources to educate and empower SNA members and address food insecurity and childhood hunger.
