The School Nutrition Association’s (SNA) Public Policy and Legislation Committee (PPL) is seeking member input as they prepare to draft the 2024 Position Paper, SNA’s advocacy agenda for the coming year. At 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, October 24, all current SNA members will receive an email from “The School Nutrition Association,” containing a unique link to participate in SNA’s Position Paper and Trends survey. Please take this opportunity to raise your voice on the top issues SNA should address in our outreach to Congress and USDA. School nutrition directors/supervisors will receive additional survey questions regarding current program trends.
Every SNA member who completes the SNA Position Paper and Trends survey will be enrolled in a drawing to win one of two FREE registrations to SNA’s 2024 Legislative Action Conference in Washington DC! Details here.
This survey is one critical way PPL keeps its finger on the pulse of member concerns and priorities. PPL members also welcome direct member feedback throughout the year, gather input at SNA meetings and stay in close touch with SNA’s state affiliate policy chairs. In addition to contacting PPL and your state policy chair, members may share input directly with SNA via advocacy@schoolnutrition.org. Please do your part to keep SNA informed on the issues that matter most to you, your program and the students you serve.
