Nominate the Next Great Leaders in School Nutrition
SNA is seeking nominations for the 2027 election, and this is the moment to put forward the leaders who will shape where this profession goes next.
Do you know someone with strong leadership skills, a record of active involvement in their state association or SNA, and the vision to move this field forward? Or is that person you? Either way, SNA wants to hear from you.
SNA values representation from across the membership at every level of leadership. The Leadership Development Committee is seeking candidates with diverse backgrounds and experience from every corner of the country to run for the positions below. Our open positions include:
Board of Directors:
- 3 Director Positions
Industry Advisory Council:
- Industry Advisory Council Chair
Leadership Development Committee:
- 3 At-Large Members
Nomination Process
Nominate yourself or someone else for up to two of the open positions above. Full details, including the nomination form, are available on the SNA website. Please note, submitting a nomination requires setting up a free Submittable account, where all nomination paperwork is housed.
The nomination form is only the first step, and all paperwork is due Saturday, October 31, so early submission is encouraged.
The Leadership Development Committee will meet in December to select the slate for the 2027 election, which will be announced that same month. The election will be held February 15–28, 2027.
