After twelve inspiring years of encouraging wellness and keeping school nutrition professionals active, it’s bittersweet to announce that the SNA’s STEPS Wellness Program will be coming to a close on September 30. While we’re sad to see it go, we’re so proud of everything we’ve accomplished together!
Since its launch, the STEPS Wellness Program has inspired 2,483 SNA members to lead healthier, more balanced lives. Through daily challenges and nutrition tips, the program created a community focused on fitness, mindfulness, and gratitude. Over the years, participants have collectively:
-
Walked hundreds of thousands of steps together for overall health and wellness!
-
Shared over 26,000 gratitude entries, helping us all focus on positivity and well-being.
-
Logged an incredible 120,000+ hours of meditation, promoting mindfulness and balance.
Though the STEPS program is coming to an end, SNA encourages members to continue prioritizing wellness in their everyday lives. Whether it’s walking, practicing mindfulness, or simply sharing moments of gratitude, the habits built during the program can serve as a foundation for ongoing personal health.
A heartfelt thank you to Jennie-O, whose unwavering support made the program’s success possible. Your partnership has been the backbone of the program’s success!
There’s still time for members to participate in the final STEPS challenges before the program officially wraps up at the end of September. Let’s finish strong and celebrate all we’ve achieved together!
SNA thanks everyone who joined the STEPS Wellness Program for being part of such a meaningful journey and encourages participants to carry forward the lessons learned in new and exciting ways. As this chapter closes, the wellness journey continues.
Stay well, and let’s keep moving forward!
