SNA has been working for several years to promote the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) to its members through numerous conference presentations, webinars and articles in School Nutrition. These concepts are driving many conversations about how we interact across all facets of society, and the business case for an embrace of DEI in organizations has never been stronger.

There is ample and increasing evidence about the benefits of diverse, inclusive teams. Morale rises and cooperative, collaborative teamwork is stronger. These teams make better and more creative decisions, bringing efficiency, innovation and a level of competitive advantage to their organizations.
