Lisa Johnson is the Director of Nutrition Services at Highline School District in Burien, Washington. She is a Registered Dietitian and holds a, as well as a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition Science from Colorado State University. With over 36 years of experience in the school nutrition field, Johnson is dedicated to ensuring her district’s nutrition department operates efficiently in order to maximize its services and support for students.

What She Brings to the Role

Johnson brings extensive experience in the school nutrition field, having worked in the largest school district in Washington state as well as smaller districts throughout her career. In addition to her work in district administration for child nutrition programs, she has collaborated with the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and community colleges to provide training in topics related to school nutrition and has served as a child nutrition consultant.

Personal Interests
