Keba Laird, EdD, MBA, RDN, SNS, ACSM EP-C

Keba Laird is a strong and inspirational leader with a talent for motivating people. She has a doctorate in educational leadership from Mississippi College, a Master of Business Administration from William Carey University, a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Southern Mississippi and an Associate of Arts degree from Hinds Community College. She has earned several certifications throughout her career, including the SNA School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) credential. Additionally, she is certified in exercise physiology through the American College of Sports Medicine and in adult weight management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Dr. Laird’s philosophy is summed in one word: believe. She centers her life and work around the mantra that “all things are possible to those who believe,” and she encourages and inspires others to tap into the great potentialities within themselves to harness a life full of happiness, joy and peace.

Dr. Laird is married to her high school sweetheart, Julius Laird, and they celebrate 26 years of friendship and love. They have two beautiful daughters, Dr. Ashley Laird and Michaela Laird.

What Do You Bring to the Role: Dr. Laird is an accomplished registered dietitian nutritionist with 23 years of extensive experience in child nutrition program operations, corporate communications, health coaching, worksite wellness and medical nutrition therapy. She is a skilled team-builder and problem-solver who exhibits expertise in project management, business marketing, professional development, media relations, stakeholder alliance and strategic planning.
