For more than eight years, Jessica Gould has been the Director of Nutrition and Warehouse at Littleton Public Schools, a district with an enrollment of 14,000, serving roughly 7,500 students daily. She has extensive experience in school nutrition with an emphasis on advocacy, menu planning/purchasing, commodity utilization and financial accountability. Jessica is a registered dietitian, School Nutrition Specialist (SNS), past president for the Colorado School Nutrition Association (CSNA) and past chair of the Public Policy & Legislation committee for SNA. Jessica is also a LEAD to Succeed™ trainer.
Areas of Business Responsible For: Staffing, human resources, budget and finance, free and reduced meals, warehousing, compliance and wellness.
What Do You Bring to the Role: I thrive in creating structure for optimal performance. Through my experience as past president of CSNA, past chair of the SNA PP&L committee and as the Director of Nutrition and Warehouse for Littleton Public Schools, I am able to understand the big picture and create structure and tools to help achieve goals. I believe in explaining the “why” behind every change and including others within the process. I love numbers, constant improvement and leadership. I am vocal with my own opinions and am willing to learn others’ viewpoints to find consensus that best serves the interests of the Association.
