Effective October 1, 2024
The SNA Board of Directors recently approved an increase in the national member dues, which goes into effect on October 1, 2024. As part of the governance changes passed by SNA’s Delegate Assembly in 2015, national member dues increases may only occur every other year and increases cannot exceed 10%.
This dues increase allows SNA to provide and sustain enhanced member benefits, including strong advocacy programs, which have helped to secure numerous federal waivers for school nutrition programs, the award-winning School Nutrition magazine, access to the latest news and trends in school nutrition, and high-quality professional development resources to help members meet and exceed USDA Professional Standards annual training requirements. The increased processing fee reflects the continuously rising costs of doing business.
In 2024-2025, SNA members can look forward to continued high-quality educational resources via the SNA Training Zone. This includes free live and on-demand educational webinars, self-paced training modules on ethics, financial management, procurement, and new modules of LEAD to Succeed. This is all in addition to continued advocacy efforts on behalf of school nutrition programs and helping SNA members ensure that our nation’s children are well nourished and ready to succeed.
Starting October 1, national dues and processing fee will increase as follows:
- Affiliate Employee/Affiliate Retired: From $20 to $22
- Employee/Student/ Retired: From $40 to $44
- Manager: From $42 to $46
- Director/Major City Director/Educator/State Agency/Other: From $143 to $155
Being an SNA member continues to be a smart investment in your career and your program. We encourage you to take advantage of the many benefits offered as part of your membership. If you have questions, please email membership@schoolnutrition.org.
