On April 26, 2022, SNA Chief of Staff and Vice President of Strategy & Governance, Rhea Steele, CAE, ODCP, was named an American Society Association Executives (ASAE) Fellow. The ASAE Fellows program is among ASAE’s highest honors, recognizing individuals who have made a significant impact on the association community through exemplary volunteer service and leadership, extraordinary accomplishments, or other major contributions to ASAE and the profession of association management. The ASAE Fellows program is an honorary recognition bestowed on less than 1 percent of ASAE’s membership.
“I am humbled and honored to be named among such distinguished association professionals. I look forward to continuing to support and strengthen the association profession and SNA by building communities of support and co-creation, and using my voice, my influence, and my dedication to lift and champion those around me,” said Steele.
In her tenure at SNA, Steele has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of the Association’s inspiring and transformational strategic plan resulting in four new areas of focus for the organization and increased synchronicity and alignment between Centers. Her partnership with CEO Patricia Montague, FASAE, CAE on strengthening the cultural fabric of SNA resulted in SNA being named to Nonprofit Times’ 2022 Best Places to Work list.
