SNA Announces New VP of Government Affairs & Media Relations 

SNA welcomes Elizabeth Campbell, MA, RDN, as the Association’s Vice President of Government Affairs and Media Relations, beginning May 13, 2025. Campbell brings over 20 years of expertise in nutrition policy, advocacy and stakeholder engagement, paired with a passion for school nutrition. As VP she will serve as SNA’s lobbyist, supporting members and working with SNA’s Public Policy and Legislation Committee in advocating for child nutrition programs before Congress. 

Most recently, Campbell served as USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service Branch Chief for External Affairs, building relationships and collaborating with key federal, state and industry partners across the field of nutrition. As Senior Director of Legislative and Government Affairs for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, she advocated for policies and funds to support the critical work of school nutrition professionals during the pandemic. Previously, Campbell served as Senior Program Manager for the School Nutrition Foundation, supporting implementation of breakfast in the classroom programs. She also has prior experience administering after-school supper and Summer Food Service Programs for the Food Bank of Central New York.
