Together with No Kid Hungry, SNA President Beth Wallace, SNA Board member Warren DeShields and SNAPA President Dimitra Barrios, educated participants, advocated for aid and discussed techniques for mitigating the impact of supply chain disruption on school meals.
The main topics discussed were staffing shortages, USDA Waivers’ extensions through SY2022-23 as a pressing issue and the need for a higher reimbursement rate to provide additional funds desperately needed to continue to feed students.
