Have you heard? It’s now easier than ever to nominate a school nutrition colleague for an SNA Award! Every year, we recognize certain members for their outstanding contributions to the school nutrition profession through our SNA Awards program.
Member award categories include national Employee, Manager and Director of the Year.
To make the awards more inclusive and accessible, big changes were made to the application process including:
- Eligibility requirements were modified.
- Self-nominations are now permitted.
- Applications are accepted digitally through a new platform.
- The nominator and nominee(s) can collaborate on the application.
Nominations are due March 1, 2022.
*For California: the deadline was October 1, 2021.
*For Virginia: the deadline is January 25, 2022.
There is no time like the present to recognize the hard work of our colleagues in the school nutrition profession who have truly outdone themselves to keep students fed during the pandemic.
