The Fuel Up to Play 60 (FUTP 60) Student Ambassador Program is a powerful engagement tool that encourages students to become wellness leaders at school. SNA had the opportunity to lead conversations with FUTP 60 Student Ambassadors to learn how school nutrition professionals can successfully connect with the kids they serve.

With support from National Dairy Council (NDC), and FUTP 60, SNA members can browse new resource materials to increase student engagement. School nutrition professionals at all levels can use these tips and activity ideas to empower students, improve communication, and increase awareness of and participation in school meals.

We know you’ll want to share these strategies with the rest of your school nutrition team, so we have provided printable, full-color versions of this summary for you to review and discuss with your team. Brainstorm ways to customize each step to create new, meaningful ways to engage with your students. You can also share the School Nutrition magazine article to provide more details on this topic.
