In the midst of the hustle and bustle of the upcoming holidays, strive to stress less this month and be mindful about relaxing and enjoying the season. Start by reading the article from SN Magazine's January 2018 issue, "It's All in Your Mind," by Kelsey Casselbury, which reminds us to take the time to ensure that our minds are healthy and strong. The mind needs training, too, and that’s what meditation is meant to do. It coaches your brain to shake off the cobwebs, clear out extraneous worries and think more clearly. Also in the January 2018 issue, "Letting it Go" by Patricia L. Fitzgerald offers stress-relief strategies to help at one of the busiest times of the year. Stress management is hard. It takes practice. It means making difficult choices. But it works. Read this feature article and get closer to serenity.
