About the New Membership Database

SNA is transitioning to a new database designed to improve efficiency, usability and overall member experience. This update includes a refreshed member portal with enhanced features for individuals, state affiliates and SDM administrators. 

SNA will provide continued support, resources and updates throughout the rollout.

The new portal will make it easier to manage your membership and information.

Enhanced tools will support more efficient membership management and reporting.

  • Searchable membership rosters (Active, New, Renewing, Grace, Expired, SDMs)  
  • Exportable reports with expanded data fields (County, Enrollment, NCES data)  
  • Roster management updates (email, district, chapter changes; deceased member notifications routed to SNA)  
  • Online state dues reports with improved automation and earlier payment timelines  
  • Monthly closeout on the 1st of each month  
  • Toggle feature for managing multiple states

For SDM Administrators 

New functionality will streamline roster management, payments and member updates. 

Key Features: 

  • Manage SDM rosters (view active members, update information, assign roles)  
  • Instant SDM transfers within the portal  
  • Add new members year-round with prorated dues  
  • Generate and pay invoices online  
  • Toggle between individual membership and SDM admin views

Certificate and SNS Exam Applications (Now Online) 

For the first time, key applications will be fully digital.

Certificate Program: 

  • Submit training documentation and application fees online
  • Applications will be reviewed and approved by SNA staff  

SNS Exam: 

  • Submit eligibility documentation and exam fees online  
  • Approval will be processed by SNA staff
