ARLINGTON, VA – The non-profit School Nutrition Association (SNA) welcomes Stephanie Dillard, MS, SNS, as President for the 2025-26 School Year (SY), serving SNA’s 50,000 members and representing school nutrition professionals nationwide. Dillard also serves as Child Nutrition Director for Enterprise City Schools in Alabama.
Leading school meal programs for nearly 30 years, Dillard has extensive experience managing program finances and staffing, addressing operational challenges and promoting healthy eating habits for students. She currently oversees the foodservice operations for Enterprise City Schools, with an enrollment of 6,600 students across nine schools. In SY 2024-25, her 55-member team served more than 681,000 lunches and 336,000 breakfasts.
Dillard’s team takes pride in offering an expansive menu of locally-sourced foods, such as Alabama shrimp and satsumas. She works closely with her staff to introduce scratch-prepared, regional menu favorites such as Creole chicken and sausage, served with crispy Buffalo cauliflower bites, and shrimp and chicken etouffee. The district also participates in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, which has allowed elementary students to taste Cara Cara oranges, sliced radishes and sugar snap peas.
An SNA member since 2006, Dillard served on the Board of Directors as Secretary/Treasurer and At-Large Director prior to her election as SNA Vice President. She previously served on SNA’s Public Policy & Legislation, Nutrition & Research, and Finance committees and chaired the Resolutions & Bylaws Committee. She held numerous positions for the Alabama School Nutrition Association (ASNA), including President, and was recognized as the 2013-14 Alabama SNA Director of the Year. Dillard also served as a School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) state ambassador and treasurer of the SNF Board.
Prior to her role with Enterprise City Schools, Dillard served as School Nutrition Director for Geneva County Schools (2015 – 2020) and Andalusia City Schools (1997 – 2015) in Alabama. Dillard earned her M.S. in Business Management from Faulkner University and a B.S. in Nutrition & Food Science from Auburn University.
