Shaping a Stronger Voice

When I first stepped into the role of employee/ manager representative on the SNA Board of Directors, I was ready to serve, to learn and most importantly to make sure the voices of employees and managers were heard at the leadership level. Now, as I look back on my term, I’m filled with gratitude for the experiences I’ve had and the people I have been able to connect with.

There are two accomplishments I’m especially proud of. First, contributing to a more supportive culture within the Association. And second, supporting the transition to a single-slate election process. Both of these efforts were rooted in a desire to make SNA more representative of the people doing this important work every day...
