Meet Our Guests
Larry Wade, Sr., M.Div., SNS – Director of School Nutrition Services
Larry Wade brings more than 40 years of experience in public school nutrition, from launching afterschool meal programs to leading through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. He currently serves as Director of School Nutrition Services for Chesapeake Public Schools in Virginia, overseeing 45 schools and more than 41,000 students. Known for his steady leadership and deep care for his community, Larry credits his dedicated staff as the true heroes behind the work of feeding students every day.
Katie Bambacht – Vice President of Nutrition Affairs for National Dairy Council
Katie Bambacht is the Vice President of Nutrition Affairs at National Dairy Council, where she brings nearly two decades of expertise in child nutrition programs. A registered dietitian and credentialed school nutrition specialist, Katie has been part of the dairy community since 2016, serving as a go-to resource on USDA feeding programs, school nutrition, and nutrition security. Katie is passionate about helping schools develop meal programs that support student health and academic success.
Christina Uticone, SNA Consultant
Christina Uticone is a longtime communications consultant for the School Nutrition Association and the School Nutrition Foundation. She has worked on projects such as Partners for Breakfast in the Classroom, LEAD to Succeed(™) and the Made with School Lunch campaign, among others. Christina believes that school meals are for every child and she is passionate about elevating the role of school nutrition professionals in students’ academic success.
