Areas of Business Responsible For: All areas administering the school nutrition programs, including, budget and finances, supervising staff, menu planning and implementation of school nutrition guidelines.

What Do You Bring to the Role: I have worked in school nutrition for nearly 25 years and have had the opportunity to experience almost every area of school nutrition. While I hope to spend most days working at my “regular job,” I often get called away to cook, cashier, fix a computer or troubleshoot a piece of kitchen equipment. This has allowed me to have a greater scope of all that goes into school meals.

Education: North Dakota State University (Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition) University of Mary (Master’s in Public Administration)

Other Memberships or Affiliations: American Academy of Dietetics

What You Do in Your Free Time: Spending time outdoors, walking or biking, but especially planting and caring for flowers in the summer.
