Lori Adkins, MS, SNS, CHE

Lori Adkins works as the Child Nutrition Consultant for Oakland Schools ISD in Waterford, Michigan. For the first 25 years of her career, Lori worked as a school food service director in three different districts in south-east Michigan. In addition, for the past 10 years Lori has worked as the Child Nutrition Consultant for Oakland Schools ISD providing technical support, professional development training and compliance support to 28 local districts within the county.

Lori earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in the fields of Food Systems Management, Business Management & Dietetic Technology. Lori has presented at several state and national meetings, events and workshops across the country on a variety of topics related to Child Nutrition and she’s been an active volunteer for SNA/SNAM since 1998.
