What to Expect

SNIC-2022-better together

“Change is the only constant.” – Hereticus

SNIC-2022-san-antonio-city2 Let’s get back to meeting in person, safely! With the first beam of San Antonio sun, your Zoom fatigue will melt away. This year’s School Nutrition Industry Conference (SNIC) 2022 invites you to step away from your computer and remember why in person meetings are a crucial component of connecting.

With new formats that allow for social distancing, and extensive hotel safety measures, SNIC attendees will be able to safely interact within their comfort levels.

You can expect the same great educational programing, pre-conference workshops, keynote speakers, live industry presentations and networking opportunities that are the hallmark of SNIC.

At the same time, we know not everyone is comfortable traveling or meeting in person just yet. This why we are making SNIC 2022 a hybrid event, with Virtual SNIC taking place the following week after the in-person conference.

Using the same highly rated platform that brought you #ANC21, Virtual SNIC will provide the same level of educational opportunities and keynote speakers as the in-person conference, along with on-camera networking, discussion groups, and virtual Innovative Solution Sessions.

But wait, there’s more! All in person SNIC conference registrants will automatically have access to Virtual SNIC so we can bridge the conversations and learning between the two!

The in-person conference will take place on January 16-18, and the virtual conference will take place the following week on January 25-26.  Register for the conference of your choice! There is much to gain by attending either or both events.

Check out the in- person schedule and the virtual schedule.

At both Virtual and In-Person Conferences, join us for:

Sought After Keynote Speakers: Erica Dhawan will share her breakthrough new model of Connectional Intelligence: How to get big things done, effectively through direct communication. Then, Ron Hetrick will get to the heart of what is driving staffing issues and provide solutions for what we can do about it.

Innovative Solutions: Industry partners will showcase their new, available products, services or equipment that will boost this school year’s student participation.

Emergency Feeding Success Stories and Best Practices: Let’s celebrate what we’ve overcome and conquer supply chain issues and other covid conundrums.

Supply Chain Solutions: Take part in plenty of opportunities to discuss your district’s current issues and gather solutions through combined brain gain.

The In-Person Conference also includes:

SNIC-2022-san-antonio-river-exterior-night Pre-Conference Workshops: Two 2-hour sessions: the School Nutrition Foundation’s new high-quality LEAD to Succeed™ FREE training, and Emergency Feeding Success Stories and Best Practices (additional fee).

Together Again Celebration at San Antonio Tower of the Americas: A celebration of being back together, with an outdoor option and social distancing.

Networking Lunches and Tabletop Showcase: Break bread and catch up, mingle and network while visiting with industry representatives and viewing their newest products.

San Antonio Walk and Talk: Talk about hot topics with colleagues as you take in the scenery in this scenic walk along the San Antonio River.
