SNIC THINKubator: Think Outside the Lunch Box (limited space—first come, first served!)
Are you an innovative operator? Do you love problem-solving in teams? Do you thrive on the idea of pitching ideas to about 600 of your peers?

We’re looking to uncover fresh and unconventional ways to increase school lunch participation. From new equipment and menu ideas to new ways to serve students, the focus is on creative ways to build the school lunch program of the future! So, how does this work? Think “Shark Tank” meets “America’s Got Talent,” but better!

  • 7 teams will compete to solve the following challenge: “How do we increase school lunch participation?”
  • Each team will include 6 participants: 3 operators, 2 industry representatives and 1 high school student from the local school district.
  • Expert mentors and our awesome THINKubator facilitator will be there to guide you and help you hone your ideas.

Once your team has developed its innovative ideas, they will pitch these solutions to the SNIC audience during Sunday afternoon’s general session. The audience will vote with the help of 3 judges, and the winning team will win cool prizes and bragging rights!
