Will we be able to meet face to face with our representatives at LAC 2022?

Much like pre-pandemic COVID-19 conditions, SNA is encouraging all LAC registrants seeking to meet with their House and Senate members during LAC, to reach out directly to your Congressional offices to set up your delegation appointments. Each Capitol Hill office has developed its own method and process on how they are meeting with their constituents. This process, and all necessary protocols, details, and instructions will be shared with the constituent at the time the appointment is scheduled. 

Are masks required for LAC 2022?

In accordance with local guidance in Washington, D.C.masks are optional indoors. Our meeting location does provide access to outdoor space so there are opportunities to step outside for mask breaks. 

Do I have to be fully vaccinated to attend LAC 2022?  

For public health and safety reasons, all in-person attendees must be either (1) fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before arriving on-site, or (2) submit a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the start of the conference. 

Does the hotel require proof of vaccination? 

  • No. As of February 16th, the mandate requiring businesses to check proof of vaccination has been lifted.

Do I need to have a booster to be considered fully vaccinated?  

No. The CDC definition of fully vaccinated does not include COVID-19 booster shots. However, to be considered fully vaccinated, your final vaccine dose must be administered by Sunday, February 20th.  

Will I need to provide proof of my vaccination status?  

Yes. You will need to provide proof of your vaccination status to SNA prior to being admited to the conference.  

How is SNA checking my vaccination status?  

SNA is using the CLEAR App, detailed instructions for using CLEAR and submitting your information can be found below:

Step 1: Download and enroll in CLEAR 

  1. Download the CLEAR app and tap on the white Health Pass tile.
    • a. Select “Have a Code?” and enter the code EFATTENDEE25
  2. Tap “Enroll or verify your in CLEAR” to create your CLEAR member account
    • a. New to CLEAR? When prompted, enter your email address, phone number, and have your gov’t issued photo ID ready to complete enrollment
    • b. Already a CLEAR member? Use the email address associated with your membership and snap a quick selfie to verify your identity
  3. Continue to follow prompts on the Entry Requirements page to securely confirm your proof of vaccination or negative test results

Step 2: Before arriving to the event, complete your Health Pass for faster entry at check-in 

  1. Open the CLEAR app and tap on the white Your Pass tile
  2. Confirm your identity with a quick selfie
  3. Tap “Open Health Pass” to get your result. Green means you’re good to go!

The following test results are accepted: 

  • Lucira at-home antigen test, Pixel by Labcorp, Everlywell and Vault within 72 hours, OR 
  • An antigen or PCR test from an official testing clinic – within 72 hours 

CLEAR is constantly updating the list of accepted tests so when you go to “labs” to submit your proof of the test, it should have a list of the ones they accept. If yours is on the list and you can select it, then you should be good to go for LAC22. 

If I am fully vaccinated, do I also need to provide a negative COVID-19 test?

No, if you have submitted proof of vaccination a negative COVID-19 test is not required.

Will SNA be providing masks? 

We ask that everyone come with their own masks. However, SNA will have a limited supply of extra masks on hand for participants who need one. Just ask for one at the Registration desk.  

How will SNA be enforcing the Event Health and Safety Policy? 

Everyone attending the in-person event must agree to comply with all health, safety, and distancing guidelines in place at the time of the meeting and must comply with the vaccine and testing requirements. Attendees who decline to comply with event health and safety guidelines or related instruction from hotel, event center, or SNA staff and volunteers will be asked to leave the event.  

Can I bring a guest to the Together Again Gala if they are vaccinated? 

Yes. Guests will be required to meet the same health and safety guidelines as conference attendees and should upload their information into the CLEAR app. There is limited space at the Gala, so advance tickets are strongly recommended.  

When I enter my vaccine and/or test information into the CLEAR app, the expiration is before the LAC conference, how do I make sure my Health Pass doesn’t expire?  

Health Passes generally remain valid for 12 hours following survey completion. Once it expires, you will just need to go through the Health Pass flow again to create a new Health Pass. The information you initially put in and uploaded will not be lost. When you arrive onsite at LAC, and open your health pass, it will reload the pass with a new expiration date, so you will be able to display your “green card” for registration without issue.   

I have had COVID in the past 90 days and am no longer contagious, do I still have to provide proof of vaccination? 

Yes. Past infection with COVID does not preclude a person from being reinfected and passing the virus on to others. Regardless of whether you have had COVID in the past, you will need to submit proof of vaccination or negative COVID test.  

I would prefer not to use the CLEAR App, can I just bring my vaccine card? 

We are asking all participants to upload their vaccine information or negative COVID test information into CLEAR to maintain the privacy of health records and speed the process of check in at registration. More information about CLEAR’s privacy and security measures can be found here.

I have tried to get the CLEAR App and it says that my phone is not compatible with the current version of CLEAR.  What should I do?
