Get Involved with Fuel Up to Play 60 Get Into The Game!Getting Involved with Fuel Up to Play 60 is Easier than You Think.One of the advantages of Fuel Up to Play 60 is that it's highly adaptable to fit your needs (and your resources). Below are three different levels of involvement in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program: Role What you will need to do Why get involved? Coach or PROGRAM ADVISOR Organize and meet regularly with student team members to choose nutrition and activity "plays" Share program goals and plays with school staff and administration Work with state/regional dairy council affiliate staff to coordinate activities and grant writing While being a Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor is the most time-intensive way to participate, it's also the most rewarding Cheerleader or TEAM MEMBER Meet with students and Program Advisor to "cheer on" the nutrition plays chosen by team as needed Provide information and background for nutrition activities as needed Attend and publicize kick-off and other events throughout the year This is a way to be involved in Fuel Up to Play 60 without managing all the details associated with being a Program Advisor. Every team needs cheerleaders! Booster or SUPPORTER Meet with students and/or Program Advisor as necessary to complete nutrition plays Assist team in finding necessary resources (people, equipment, etc.) for successful nutrition activities Promote program throughout the district with a variety of groups and organizations Being a Fuel Up to Play 60 Booster is perfect if your time is limited! You can participate when you are available and when your team really needs your support.
