SNA Launches New PR Campaign


SNA's PR Campaign

Members have continuously voiced the importance of having more positive publicity for the K-12 school foodservice profession and we listened! SNA is proud to unveil a new PR campaign that celebrates hard-working school nutrition professionals who are dedicated to serving healthy meals to over 30 million kids each day. The campaign officially launched today.

This campaign will have many tools which you can download and share to help spread the word about the work SNA is doing. All of these resources will be available through the SNA website and you will be altered when new tools are available.

Some elements include customizable breakfast and lunch flyers which allow you to enter school-specific information including school name, meal prices and website URL. These flyers were designed to educate parents on their child’s school meal programs. The shareable content includes colorful, fun pieces of creative that you can share across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The campaign’s media buy includes two ads that will run in American School Board Journal and Principal magazine this fall. The ads feature school nutrition operators and their students from St. Paul (Minn.) Public Schools. Lastly, a short video was created to bring the campaign to life through animation.
