Welcome to the first all-digital version of School Nutrition magazine! While we know that our readers eagerly await a print copy to arrive via U.S. mail, we are daring to do something a little different this month.
Acting on the dual drivers of economics and changing reader trends, eSN is our way to ensure you get the content you expect every month. Costs are up, revenue is down and readers are seeking multiple content formats that meet their in-the-moment need states. (And while the news-making delays in mail delivery was not a factor in our decision to take some issues online this year, the postal crisis has made digital access for timely editorial and advertising content all the more important.) eSN is our solution to all these problems!
This first eSN is a pilot test—we are only dipping a toe into many of the tech flourishes that are often signature features of e-publications. Be sure to hover on a page to activate the color-coded markers that alert you to embedded links that will take you directly to numerous extras, such as helpful web pages and advertiser content.
