A Special Thank You From SNA's CEO

In honor of National Volunteer Week, SNA’s Chief Executive Officer Patti Montague, CAE, has this special message of thanks for all members who have stepped up to volunteer their time in the past year.

“During this Volunteer Appreciation Week, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the more than 500 SNA members who volunteer all year long, supporting the Association and the Foundation. Whether you choose to serve on a committee, on the Board, present at a conference or a webinar, write for one of our many publications or raise money for the foundation, we appreciate you. When you help us advocate for school nutrition programs at the state or national level or even hosting a networking event, you’re making a great impact on the Association and school nutrition programs. Also, you’re making a great impact on the 30 million students every day who eat a school meal.

We know the last year has been a challenging one and we know how busy you are, but you continue to support SNA and SNF, and for that, my staff and I are forever grateful. Your commitment, resilience and professionalism is something that never ceases to inspire all of us. Thank you again for supporting SNA and SNF. Stay well, and be safe.”

SNA invites you to share how you have benefited from being a volunteer for SNA by posting your own video on social media using the hashtag #NVW21. Be sure to tag SNA on   FacebookTwitter or  Instagram—we may share your content!
