Operators Identify Go-To Tech Solutions

2021-05-26

sn-supplement-may-2021-coverWhether bursting with bells and whistles or simple and straightforward, a wide variety of technology solutions can prove to be game-changers for school nutrition operations. School Nutrition magazine asked several directors to identify tech that makes a big difference in how they manage their many responsibilities. Their responses are featured in the first SN Plus article, a new channel for the magazine to keep delivering high-quality content that school nutrition professionals and partners can use to meet challenges, solve problems and enhance school meal programs.

Individual SN Plus articles are published as extras to the magazine’s print and digital editions on topics that go beyond the pandemic priorities and pivots featured in its successful COVID-19 series of digital supplements.

From integrated back-of-house software systems to menu-planning aids to Zoom communications, the array of responses featured in “Tech on Deck” offers a helpful starting place and peer-to-peer inspiration when considering options to explore. Download a copy for your own reading or share with team members and other stakeholders, noting that credit be provided to School Nutrition/School Nutrition Association. This article is made available with the generous support of NutriStudents K-12. This and future SN Plus articles will be accessible here.
