They are starting to get WILD About School Lunch at  Medicine Lodge Jr-Sr High School in Kansas where Karla Kessler won this gorgeous T-shirt. Here are four steps you can take right now to begin planning your WILD celebration for the week of October 11-15!

  1. Trek on over to the  SNA NSLW Shop to order your own WILD merchandise to outfit your School Lunch Safari team.  Download the brochure and  place your order early for the best selection—due to COVID-19, some items may take longer to arrive, so plan ahead!
  2. Start generating some buzz in the jungle by posting about NSLW on social media now with our new  social media graphics using the hashtags #NSLW21 and #WILDSchoolLunch—we’ve expanded them this year and have lots for you to choose from for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
  3. Use our colorful new  infographic, also available in  Spanish, to help get your message out to parents and the community. Get copies printed to hand out at PTA meetings and other upcoming school events.
  4. Use our  sample proclamation to approach your local elected official to proclaim the week of October 11-15 National School Lunch Week—whether virtually or in person. There may never be a better time to highlight the importance of school lunch!

Coming soon—the National School Lunch Week 2021 Toolkit and coloring sheets with lots of ideas to engage students, staff and your community for a WILD School Lunch Celebration!

National School Lunch Week resources are made possible with the support of our exclusive sponsor Kellogg’s.
