Equipment Vendors Subject of Latest SN Supplement

2021-04-27

COVID-19-Equipped-With-Resilience Over the past year, there’s been a great deal of attention on the food and beverage supply chain—on how growers, food processors and distributors are meeting the challenge of getting their products to school meal programs. But we’ve heard considerably less about the impact on another part of the K-12 supply chain: equipment manufacturers. Until now.

For the eleventh article in its ongoing COVID-19 digital supplement series, School Nutrition reached out to several equipment manufacturers to learn how the pandemic has affected their operations. Their insights range from managing disruptions like getting raw materials and parts from global suppliers to embracing virtual approaches to customer communications. With a mix of pragmatic candor and grateful optimism, each reaffirms their commitment to being partners with K-12 school nutrition operators. Learning from their reflections can help operators to further strengthen those relationships.
