#SNIC2020: Perfect Vision for School Nutrition Professionals Begins This Weekend 2020-01-10 It’s a new decade, a new year and new beginnings, with hundreds of enthusiastic school nutrition professionals poised to gain “2020 Vision” at SNA’s School Nutrition Industry Conference (SNIC) in Indian Wells, CA. Foodservice operators and industry members will create game changing opportunities beginning by participating in an amazing lineup of pre-conference sessions on Saturday. Attendees will be thinking outside the lunch box with SNA’s first-ever THINKubator challenge (Think “Shark Tank” meets “America’s Got Talent,” but better!)—taking an exciting field trip to tour the Palm Springs Unified School District warehouse and central kitchen—and learning from a panel of experts how to demystify the complex world of building construction and general contractor agreements. In fact, each day of #SNIC2020 will be jam-packed with exciting events, innovative programming, special workshops and time for networking, too. The conference kicks-off with a fun Welcome Event where attendees will “Party With A Purpose” to help support the School Nutrition Foundation. And one lucky individual will win an autographed guitar from #ANC19 headliner Andy Grammer! Attendees will hear from visionary general session speakers who will help unlock motivation, cultivate inclusive leadership and create a transformative next generation customer experience. Additional education opportunities are included throughout the three-day agenda; including new one-of-a kind special workshops (a local food bank activity and a behind the scenes tour of the Renaissance Esmeralda’s kitchen and dining), Ideas@Work Sessions and new Learning Circles. Plus, with SNIC’s Innovative Solution Sessions, participants will engage in direct dialogue with industry partners regarding their latest product innovations, and enjoy a networking lunch with 53 Tabletop Display participants showcasing cutting edge products and services to help you take your program to the next level. And finally, this year’s conference Learning Journal “Playbook” had a makeover—and will be sure to up everyone’s game with fun activities, tools and resources to get the creative juices flowing! #SNIC2020 promises to be the place to score perfect vision for what’s in store for school nutrition this year!
