SNA Launches New SNA Weekly Wrap Up Series 2020-04-22SNA is here for you during these uncertain times. That is why with the support of our colleagues at SEA Level Social, we’ve launched the SNA Weekly Wrap Up series. We know operators want to know how others are currently feeding students so owner and founder of SEA Level Social, Liz Roesel, will be interviewing your colleagues each week nationwide! On Friday afternoons, you’ll get insights from your colleagues, friends and fellow school nutrition professionals on what their school nutrition programs are experiencing while feeding students during COVID-19 school closures. Our debut episode which aired on Friday, April 17, featured Lindsay Aguilar, Administrative Dietician-Coordinator, Tucson Unified School District. Aguilar gave us great insight on how her district employees make 114 stops using 12 bus routes and serves just about 8,000 breakfast and lunch meals daily, totaling more than 160,000 meals in three weeks so far. “Don’t be afraid to open your doors and look at some of these partnerships that you haven’t done before,” says Aguilar. Hear more about Aguilar’s unexpected partnership successes and other wins in episode 1 of the SNA Weekly Wrap Up series. Be sure to tune in this Friday, April 24, on the SNA Facebook page or YouTube channel and learn about the great things that Mark Chavez from Long Beach USD, CA is doing within his district!
