SNA Directors’ Best Practices Conference Compilation of Shared Ideas Document

2020-12-15

Directors’ Best Practices Conference Shared IdeasSNA’s Directors’ Best Practices Conference at the end of October provided three days of opportunities for school nutrition directors, industry members, and state agency staff to reflect on and share ideas that are working in school nutrition programs, in the COVID-19 era.

Through presentations with simultaneous live chat and daily zoom room conversations, the participants shared, generated and discussed a host of great ideas, practical applications, and resources.

To capture this information, we compiled it into the Directors’ Best Practices Conference Compilation of Shared Ideas.

In this document you’ll find practical ideas and resources on the following topics:

  • Marketing
  • Meals for Hybrid and Virtual Learners
  • Menu Ideas
  • Food Safety
  • Family Meals
  • Grants

We would like to thank all the presenters, participants, and our generous sponsors for making this event possible and sharing their ideas and resources.

If you missed the conference, you can still benefit from the on-demand recording.

... and don’t forget to register for the School Nutrition Industry Conference SNIC 2021 – Leading in Times of Change, a virtual conference bringing you practical leadership ideas, high level conversation about the future of school nutrition programs and the innovative ideas from around the country.
