SNA CEO Named ASAE Fellow 2020-05-05 On May 4, 2020, SNA CEO Patricia Montague, CAE, was named an American Society Association Executive (ASAE) Fellow. The ASAE Fellows program is among ASAE’s highest honors, recognizing individuals who have made a significant impact on the association community through exemplary volunteer service and leadership, extraordinary accomplishments, or other major contributions to ASAE and the profession of association management. The ASAE Fellows program is an honorary recognition bestowed on less than 1 percent of ASAE’s membership. “I am so honored to be selected as part of the 2020 ASAE Fellows Class with my distinguished colleagues, and I look forward to helping ASAE in promoting the association management profession and developing future leaders,” said Montague. Throughout her 27-year tenure, she has contributed to SNA’s success in numerous capacities. In her role as CEO since 2012, Montague has shepherded a period of significant growth as the Association has introduced new services and professional development programs and supported member efforts to expand student access to nutritious, delicious meals, that fuel academic success. She maintains a positive relationship with allies across the school nutrition industry, ensuring school nutrition professionals are at the forefront of critical policy and regulatory discussions.
