Danielle Duran Baron joins SNA staff as SVP of Marketing & Communications 2020-09-21 SNA is pleased to welcome Danielle Duran Baron, CAE as the Staff Vice President for Marketing and Communications. In this role, she will oversee the Marketing and Communications Center and develop and implement the marketing and communication strategy for SNA to promote, enhance, and protect SNA’s brand. An experienced association executive, Danielle brings a full scope of strategic, operational, and team leadership experiences in non-profit and for-profit organizations. Danielle earned her Master of Arts (MA) degree in Journalism from NYU and was immediately hired by Thomson Reuters, where she started her journalism career. Later in her career, she worked for the British Government and several global companies, in the United States and overseas. For the last two decades, Danielle has helped numerous organizations find their ideal positioning and authentic voice, connecting them to their audiences through open communication and empathy. Her expertise lies in strategy, marketing, experience design and diversity, equity & inclusion. She brings association experience from ABET, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, where she was the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and led their award-winning rebranding strategy development, implementation of a new website and revamping of all marketing and communications materials. This was followed by the role of Executive Director at CAATE (Commission on Accreditation for Athletic Training Education). Danielle is also a strong proponent for school nutrition. With two elementary-aged children who eat school meals on a regular basis, she is passionate about ensuring all children have access to nutritious meals so they can be engaged and focused throughout the school day.
