‘Spread’ the News: We’re Talking Peanut Butter, Allergies and Food Trends on Webinar Wednesday!

SNA Webinar Wednesdays

Does your school nutrition program avoid incorporating new food trends due to fear of food allergens? Fear not! By knowing allergy basics, allergen-handling practices and staff training procedures, you can easily work these trends into your breakfast menus.

Join us this Webinar Wednesday, February 26, for “ Adopting Top Food Trends & Managing Allergies at School Breakfast.” Peanuts can be a scary ingredient for school nutrition programs. But they don’t have to be! You don’t have to eliminate allergens, just manage them. Find out how by listening to two reputable speakers, including Donna Martin, SNS, past president of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Then join us on Wednesday, March 4, for the webinar, “ Making Community Eligibility Work with Lower ISPs.” After our lively conversation and Q&A on CEP last month, we return with the second part in this series to discuss the finer details of CEP and how to manage and get the most out of your funding.
