2021 FAME Award Winners Announced

BAF FAME LogoThe winners of the 2021 Basic American Foods Foodservice Achievement Management Excellence (FAME) Awards have been announced! The prestigious Golden Foodservice Director of the Year Award will be presented to Maria Eunice, Director of Food and Nutrition Services, Alachua County Public Schools, Gainesville, Fla.

Additional 2021 FAME Award winners include:

  • Silver Leadership Award: Adam Russo, Director of School Food and Nutrition Services, Prince William County Public Schools, Manassas, Va.
  • Silver Spirit Award: Richard Miles, Coordinator of Nutrition and Wellness, Seminole County Public Schools, Sanford, Fla.
  • Silver Rising Star Award: Megan Cook, Director of Child Nutrition, Corona-Norco Unified School District, Corona, Calif.

For over 30 years, the FAME Awards have recognized outstanding heroes in K-12 foodservice who raise industry standards by tackling challenges and making a difference within their school districts and communities. The 32nd annual FAME Awards ceremony will be held virtually during SNA’s School Nutrition Industry Conference (SNIC) on January 14, 2021. At this time, only those registered for the conference will be permitted to register for the virtual Awards Ceremony.
