No One Eats Alone

“Social isolation is the feeling of being left out, lonely, or invisible,”—which is why Beyond Differences, a non-profit organization, has created No One Eats Alone Day to combat feelings of isolation and loneliness that are felt by children each day at school lunch.

A teen-led, grassroots program, Beyond Differences promotes this lunchtime event to encourage students (their peers) to engage in simple acts of kindness at lunch. While the organization promotes these tenets each and every day, No One Eats Alone Day will be February 15, 2019, in order to allow students to make an impact on those in their own communities, create active inclusivity, which will, in turn, ensure a culture will fewer instances of bullying.
