Final Day to Nominate a Colleague for the SNA Awards!

2019-02-28

SNA Awards Program

For all of you who procrastinate and wait to the last minute, today is your day. You only have one day left to nominate a deserving colleague for the 2019 SNA Awards. The award, given to hardworking and dedicated employees, managers and directors in the school nutrition field, highlights their outstanding work. (You probably agree with us that every passionate SNA member is deserving of such an honor—so you’ll want to nominate as many people as possible!)

Nominees are entered into one of three categories—Employee of the Year, Manager of the Year and Director of the Year. Selected winners will be recognized on the state, regional and national levels. Beyond bragging rights, all winners will be recognized at SNA’s 2019 Annual National Conference (ANC) in St. Louis, Missouri, during the Red Carpet Awards Ceremony.

Need more inspiration? Read these inspiring stories from previous winners Debra “Kay” Flint (Employee of the Year), Jerrilyn Hernandez (Manager of the Year) and Connie Little, SNS (Director of the Year).

Remember, all submissions are due online by Friday, March 1, 2019. To learn more about the SNA Awards, the criteria for nominees or to how to enter a deserving colleague, be sure to visit www.schoolnutrition.org/awards.
