SNA Block Grant Calculator

SNA’s easy to use, printable block grant calculator can you give you a clearer picture of potential losses to your local school meal program. Backing up your advocacy efforts with data makes an impression that’s hard to ignore and your legislators want to know exactly how their local communities could be affected. Attendees of SNA’s Legislative Action Conference are encouraged to bring their eye-opening results with them to the conference.

Some state’s and school districts have shared their potential losses. For example, the state of North Carolina (pdf) clocks in at a cumulative loss of over 131.3 million dollars. It’s clear to see that block granting school meal programs would devastate our ability to feed hungry students.
