March and April STEPS Challenge “Go Lean with Protein”- Are You Up for the Challenge?

While the month of March is marching right along, don’t forget to STEP into your stride the remainder of the month by challenging yourself to “Go Lean with Protein,” as part of SNA’s STEPS Challenge wellness program. The March Challenge encourages you to swap out proteins like red meat for nuts, beans, turkey or fish. The possibilities are seemingly endless, and you just add a new recipe to your regular repertoire! At the end of the month, award yourself three points each time you choose lean protein.

Then, get ready to use the month of April to “Spring into Fitness” by stepping up your physical activity for 30-minute sessions. The April Challenge focuses on adding some more exercise to your daily routine by trying out a new yoga class, taking a bike ride, jogging with the family dog, or participating in other exercises that interest you. For every 30-minute session, reward yourself with five points and an energetic pat on the back.

To be eligible for prize drawings, points must be submitted before the 5th day of the next month (so if you’re submitting a sheet for March, it must be received before April 4th). To sign up and start receiving details about other health goals worth STEPing toward, visit
