Networking Made Easy

ANC 2021 attendee networking will be powered by AI (artificial intelligence). Through your Virtual ANC platform profile, which you will create once the platform opens to attendees the week before #ANC21, you’ll be matched with other attendees you should connect with—just like on other social media platforms like LinkedIn! You’ll be able to see who else is attending, send connection requests, export your contacts, arrange a one-on-one meeting through a video call (with screen sharing capabilities!) have one-on-one chats, create group chats, even watch a session together while on a video call! SNA will be hosting an attendee webinar prior to the start of the conference to show you just how easy it will be to connect through the Virtual ANC platform, at whatever level feels comfortable for you.

Virtual ANC Meet-Ups

Meet up and chat informally with colleagues around the country. Look for more details when the virtual platform opens the week before Virtual ANC.

Richard B. Russell Leadership Series: Exploring Bias and Diversity
ANC-2021-Speaker-Ervin-WatsonSpeaker(s): Ervin Watson, MBA; Donette Worthy, SNS

On the surface, Ervin Watson and Donette Worthy may not have much in common—age, gender, race, education and life experiences. But together, they will lead a session to explore how our personal biases can limit our teams and the diversity we desire. Using their own experiences and differences, Donette and Ervin will candidly discuss how to challenge assumptions. This session should make you reflect on yourself and hopefully provoke you to be an agent of change that can energize an organization or team.

The Richard B. Russell Leadership Series (made possible by theSchool Nutrition Foundation) was established in 2010 by Georgia SNA in memory of Senator Richard B. Russell and honors three SNA past presidents from the state of Georgia: Josephine Martin, Mary Nix and Nancy Rice.
