Getting to Your Hotel
There are several options from and to the McCarran International Airport: taxis, Ubers, onsite shuttle companies and limos, rental cars, and ADA/Medical transportation.

  • Taxis are located outside of the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1 to 5. Taxis costs between $16 to $20, for up to five people. Please note: Most, but not all, taxis accept credit cards so make sure to ask your driver before the ride starts.
  • There are a variety of shuttle/limousine services available and are located on the north and west sides of baggage claim, outside door exits 8 to 14. Shuttles drop off at all the major strip hotels and Mandalay Bay is usually either the very first drop off or the very last drop off; shuttles generally cost $7 to $8 per person.
  • Ubers and/or Lyfts can be requested from the airport and rates range from $12 to $35, depending on the vehicle/service.
  • Ubers can be requested from the airport and will pick passengers up at the lower level. Rates range from $6-$50, depending on the vehicle/service.

Hotel Information & Shuttles
All conference-related activities will be held in the conference center of Mandalay Bay. The three hotels SNA has contracted with this year are all connected, with direct access to the conference center. We also want to take this opportunity to reassure you or anyone concerned about safety in Las Vegas in the wake of the tragedy last fall. All throughout the city, there is a commitment to tighten security measures to protect nearly 43 million annual visitors. SNA is working with its hotel partners to address both safety and emergency preparedness.

Tax Exemption: Hotels do not honor tax exemptions.

Credit Card Authorization: School districts paying hotel expenses by credit card must contact the hotel for credit card authorization form and fax completed form to hotel two weeks prior to arrival.

Registration & Badge Pick-Up
Like last year, SNA will have two satellite registration desks: one will be in the lobby of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and the other will be in the lobby of the Luxor Hotel. These registration desks are intended for those who just need to pick up their badge and materials. Any more complicated requests, changes to registration, or the ability to register on-site will need to be done at the registration area at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. This satellite registration desks are provided so that those who just need to pick up their materials do not need to make their way over the convention center before it is necessary to do so. The satellite registration desks will be open Saturday through Tuesday during the same times as the registration at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. It will not be open on Wednesday or Thursday.

ANC Mobile App
SNA’s 2018 ANC Mobile App is the best way to stay connected while on-site in Las Vegas. The mobile app is also the ideal way to plan your time while at ANC. Features of the app include: building your own agenda, evaluating education sessions, floorplans of the convention center and Exhibit Hall, ability to message attendees and join discussion groups, and receive up-to-date schedule changes and program alerts. The app can be downloaded in Apple iTunes or Google Play – search for “SNA Events.” There is also desktop access found at

Things to Do in Las Vegas

Meeting/Exhibit Hall Etiquette
Although ANC is a fun and exciting occasion, it is also a professional meeting. Please keep in mind the following:

  • Please arrive promptly at sessions and events and stay until they conclude.
  • Please silence all electronic devices during sessions as a courtesy to your fellow attendees and session speakers.
  • When in the Exhibit Hall, please take only one sample at each booth.
  • Remember, there are many people who want to try product offerings, too.
  • For safety reasons, rolling carts and children under age 16 will not be allowed on the exhibit floor at any time for any reason.

Closing Event Concert

We are excited to announce that for those of you looking to purchase additional guest tickets for the Closing Event, we now have more tickets available. Please log onto the Registration Resource Center in order to purchase additional tickets. If you need additional assistance with this, please contact (508) 743-9619.

SNA has bought out both shows for Thursday, July 12th so our attendees have a unique opportunity to be part of a private show. If you do not recall which show you signed up for (6:00 pm or 8:30 pm), please log into the Registration Resource Center in order to view your complete registration information. Information on logging in, including your badge number, can be found in your emailed registration confirmation.

Q. How/where do I pick up my tickets for the Closing Event?
Tickets will be available for pick-up at SNA’s Registration desk on Wednesday and Thursday. The Will Call desk will open on Wedndesday, July 11, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm; and Thursday, July 12, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets are first come-first serve; however, since it is an intimate theater, there really are not any “bad” seats. There will be a seating map at the Will Call desk so you can request a certain area that you would like your seat(s) in. If you are trying to get several seats together, please ensure you all show up at the desk at the same time to pick up your tickets as tickets cannot be claimed for other people. The exception to this is if you purchased additional tickets than they will be associated with your name and you will be able to pick up all the ones you purchased at one time.

Q. How do I switch to the other show time?
Prior to Wednesday afternoon, Registration will be able to tell you if there are any tickets available for your preferred show. After that time, you can make a change at Will Call, depending on what is available.

Q. What time do I need to be at the show?
. Please allow at least 20 minutes to get through security (attendees will go through metal detectors when they arrive at the theater and are subject to bag checks) and find their seats. All guests must be in their seats no later than 15 minutes prior, or their seat locations will not be guaranteed.

Q. Can I bring my daughter? She is 2 so she can just sit on my lap and doesn’t need a seat.
Guests must be over the age of 5 years old to attend the show. No one under the age of 5 years will be permitted in the theater.

Q. Will there be food at the Closing Event this year?
Beverages (including beer and wine) will be available for sale in the theater lobby before, and during, the concert. Popcorn is also available for purchase, but plan to get dinner before or after the show.

Additional Theater Guidelines:

  • Appropriate attire is required; No swimwear, no cut-off shorts. Shoes are required.
  • The use of any recording devices and cameras is strictly prohibited.
  • Backpacks are not allowed inside the theater.
