Expanding Beyond Lunch: Becoming a School Nutrition Hub

Become a Nutrition Hub to feed your students and grow your programs! During this webinar session, participants will hear from two school nutrition directors who have started summer and supper programs in their districts. Speakers will share best practices, troubleshoot common barriers with attendees, and talk about the business case of expanding school nutrition programs. Participants will also learn about a new set of tools developed to help districts plan for program expansion.

Successful completion of the webinar and quiz is awarded 1 SNA CEU, or 1 CPEU for RDs/DTRs.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify best practices to expand your nutrition program.
  2. Summarize the business case for increasing participation in school nutrition programs.
  3. Name new tools that are available to help school nutrition staff create action plans to implement new or expand existing programs.
