If you’ve ever wondered how emotionally intelligent you are, where your strengths and areas for development might be, you’ll learn a lot more about yourself in this session. The speaker will guide you through the answers to those questions, and give you a takeaway tool to help you assess your work strengths. You will learn why smart people fail at work and why you should care. At the conclusion of the session, you will have a thorough understanding of the difference between emotional intelligence and IQ, and what you can do to grow your own emotional and social intelligence.

State Agency Section Meeting

Tuesday, July 12, 12:00 pm-2:00 pm
SNA’s State Agency Advisory Council and representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will present the latest on Child Nutrition Reauthorization, USDA research, USDA Foods, Professional Standards and other important topics of concern and interest to the State Agency Section of SNA’s membership. This session is a must-attend for all state agency staff looking for the most up-to-date information on the USDA’s recent activities, and upcoming areas of interest for this important member segment.
