Young, MS; Anastasia Snelling, PhD, RD; Maya Maroto, EdD, RD; and Katherine A. Young, MPH, details a study in which a large urban school district implemented a school wellness policy that required schools to increase health education and physical education contact hours for students and to improve the nutritional standards of school meals.
