General Information

Badge and Ticket(s) Policy
For security purposes, each person must present identification in order to receive your registration packet and will not be allowed to pick-up another attendee’s registration packet. In addition, please note badges must be worn during the conference hours for admittance to the pre-conference events, exhibit hall, sessions, riding on the dedicated SNA shuttle busses, and/or social events. Anyone without an ANC 2018 badge will be asked to register for the conference. To reprint a lost badge, there will be a fee of $5.00. Tickets to ANC events will NOT be reprinted, no exceptions. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Cancellations & Schedule Changes
Circumstances beyond SNA's control—weather, transportation difficulties or last-minute cancellations by program participants (speakers, presenters)—may necessitate changes in the scheduling or presentation of events and/or programs or even cancellation of a particular scheduled event or speaker. SNA cannot be responsible in any way to any conference attendee for any disappointment, inconvenience or "loss" caused by such an eventuality.

Conference Photos
Attendance at ANC constitutes an agreement by the registrant for SNA to take and use photos, video and audio tapes in public spaces during the conference and related events. SNA may make photographs, videos or recordings of ANC events, which may include the likeness or participation of attendees, and reproduce them in future educational, news or promotional materials, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the SNA website and its social media channels. Attendance at ANC constitutes a waiver and release any claims against SNA and its employees, members, and representatives, as well as granting SNA permission to make, use, and distribute such items, without payment or compensation.

Accessibility & Special Needs
SNA is committed to enabling access to all meeting activities, including dietary restrictions, to the extent reasonably possible and as required by law. To discuss or notify SNA about your access needs, please email meetings@schoolnutrition.org no later than June 1, 2018.

Individual Worship
SNA has designated optional time in the conference schedule on Sunday, July 8, from 10:00 am-11:45 am, for individual worship. We encourage you to ask your hotel for information about individual worship options.

Product Sales
Sales of any products outside the SNA Emporium’s “Pop Up Shop” are strictly prohibited by the contract with the Convention Center. The Convention Center personnel will rigorously enforce this regulation. Anyone apprehended will have his/her products seized and may jeopardize the overall conference. Thank you for your stringent adherence to this policy.

SNA Non-Endorsement Policy
SNA does not permit its name, logo or written materials to be copied, republished, excerpted, hypertext-linked to a website, or otherwise used for any commercial purpose, including advertising, or to suggest any endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship of any third-party product or service, without the prior written permission of SNA. Accordingly, no entity or individual may, in any written, verbal or electronic communication, including but not limited to press releases, promotional materials, advertisements, articles, videotapes, emails, telephone calls or face-to-face discussions, state or imply in any way that SNA has endorsed, recommended, approved, sponsored or taken any other position regarding any product or service without SNA's prior written consent.

Antitrust Policy Statement
It is the policy of the School Nutrition Association and it is the responsibility of every Association member and participating school food industry organization to comply in all respects with federal and state antitrust laws. No activity or discussion at any Association meeting or other function may be engaged in for the purpose of bringing about any understanding or agreement among members that may violate or appear to violate the antitrust laws, including but not limited to raise, lower or stabilize prices; to regulate production; to allocate markets; to encourage boycotts; to foster unfair trade practices; to assist monopolization; or to in any way violate federal or state antitrust laws. Any questions regarding the meaning or applicability of this policy, as well as any concerns regarding activities or discussions at Association meetings, should be promptly brought to the attention of SNA.
