Community Eligibility Provision Resources

In the March issue of School Nutrition, Arianne Corbett, RD, offered an overview of the Community Eligibility Provision and how it can work for your operation in “More Meals and a Lighter Load.” To help you navigate the tool, SN has put together a number of resources:

  • Maximize your reimbursement groupings. Grouping schools may provide for inclusions of schools that may not be eligible on their own. A sample grouping tool can help, found here.
  • Check out the Community Eligibility Database from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. This searchable database provides information on which eligible schools adopted the CEP for the 2014-2015 school year.
  • For a full overview of the Community Eligibility Provision and its requirements from the U.S. Department of Education, click here.
